As we enter our 50th Season, building the next generation of choral singers is more important to us than ever! The Junior Washington Chorus, now in its second year, is one of the ways we honor the rich heritage of choral singing in our Nation's Capital.
The Washington Chorus has been working with teens for more than 15 years through its high school internships (where teens fully participate in the Chorus for an entire season) and the Side by Side program (where outstanding area high school choruses are invited to participate in concert with TWC.)
The Junior Washington Chorus will provide an opportunity for older teens to continue their pursuit of musical excellence. Music Director Julian Wachner and the TWC Assistant Conductor will lead JWC rehearsals and performances.
